In pursuit of its
mission “to preserve and celebrate Peoria’s story!”
the Peoria Historical Society created the Historic
Preservation Award in 1988. Each year it honors people,
organizations, and businesses that demonstrate outstanding
efforts to reclaim, rehabilitate, and preserve the
architecture, neighborhoods, and landscapes of the
Tri-County area.
We salute these award winners for
their dedication to cherishing and preserving Peoria's past.
