The guest speaker, Mrs. Vicki Howell, is the great-great-granddaughter of Josiah Fulton, one of the first seven Americans to settle at the site of the burned Fort Clark along the banks of the Illinois River in 1819.  This marked the beginning of the establishment of the American settlement which would grow into today's city of Peoria.  Mrs. Howell will share her information on the Fulton family, including family memorabilia and documentation.
