Peoria History Tours 2017

Peoria Historical Societies 22nd season of tours begins on June 2, 2017 and run on Fridays and Saturdays  through October 28, 2017. Monuments and Landmarks is a fascinating new tour featuring sculpture and architecture not seen on other tours.  Tours will be on Fridays and Saturdays departing from the Peoria Riverfront Museum unless indicated  (the Friday tours in September will leave from Exhibit A Gallery - 4607 N Prospect in Peoria Heights).  The tour schedule also includes Roll Out the Barrel, Naughty to Nice, River City Tour, Grandview Drive and Springdale Cemetery, Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War and Haunted Peoria.  Call 309-674-1921 for more information or the Peoria Riverfront Museum at 309-686-7000

Monuments and Landmarks Tour - offered Saturdays at 1:30 pm in July, Fridays at 11 am in August & Saturdays at 11 am in September 

River City Tour - offered Fridays at 11am in June, Friday July 7 & 21, Saturdays at 11 am in August and Friday, September the 1st, 15th & 29th (July and September tours Peoria Heights departure- 4607 N. Prospect )

Roll Out the Barrel - offered Saturdays at 11 am on June 3,17 & 24, and Saturdays at 1:30 pm in August

Grandview Drive & Springdale Cemetery - offered Friday July 14 & 28 at 11 am(Peoria Heights departure), Friday September 8 & 22 at 11 am(Peoria Heights departure - 4607 N. Prospect) and Fridays in October at 11 am from the Riverfront Museum. 

Naughty to Nice- offered Saturday June 3, 17 & 24 at 1:30 pm and Saturday, July 1,15 & 29 at 11 am. 

Haunted Peoria - offered Saturdays in September at 1:30 pm and Saturdays in October at 11 am and 1:30 pm

The Peoria Historical Society reserves the right to cancel tours inthe event of excessive heat of 90 degrees or more or serious storms.
